1. Don’t be the @ Twitter overlord

People want to see your updates not 1000 responses to everyone else’s.

2. No one wants you to have every single Facebook App, and neither do they. Be selective

People don’t want to find out what type of person they are, Super Pinch you, or have anything to do with one-time use apps.

3. You can be addicted to Tumblr, but don’t go Acid on your followers

Try to MAX out at 10-15 posts a day. Anymore, and people will get annoyed.

4. MySpace is for middle-school kids

Seriously? Move to Facebook, it’s time to grow up.

5. Finish your 12Seconds videos

People really hate to hear cut off sentences and thoughts. Why do that to them?

6. Just because it’s YouTube or Vimeo, doesn’t mean you should upload videos that you only understand

When people search for “Are We Human Or Are We Dancers” people don’t want to see your friends dancing and laughing to the song for no reason.

7. Chain-mail should have died years ago

While they are mostly on TXT messages now, no one likes them, and none of them still tell you anything. They are stupid, don’t embarrass yourself.

8. If you don’t want something to be seen don’t upload it ANYWHERE online

If it’s online it can and WILL be found by anyone who’s looking

9. No one likes a fun-killer

Don’t ruin something just because you don’t like it. Walk away, and don’t comment. You won’t change anything even if you try.

10. Don’t try to be every-one’s friend

Some people won’t talk to you. Just accept it and move on.

11. Spell decently

Firefox and other browsers automatically have spell checkers. Typos are okay, but people don’t want to learn your secret language to understand your message.

12. Hable la lengua del sitio

Nothing sucks more than getting a Tweet, post, or anything else in a foreign language the mass majority of the site won’t understand.
